Last updated: September 11, 2026

Sunrise Blvd Dental (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://www.sunriseblvddental.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information and Protected Health Information (PHI) when you use our Service or communicate with us, including via text messaging (SMS).

1. HIPAA Compliance & Protected Health Information (PHI)

We are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your health data under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Business Associate Agreements (BAA): We ensure that third-party service providers and platforms handling your data (including messaging infrastructure providers such as Twilio) are bound by strict HIPAA Business Associate Agreements.

Data Minimization: We limit the inclusion of detailed PHI (such as diagnoses or treatment details) in unencrypted SMS notifications. Text communications will generally be limited to non-sensitive transactional information, such as appointment reminders or portal access alerts.

2. Text Messaging (SMS) & Phone Data Policies

Strict Non-Sharing Policy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties.

Operational Sharing: Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or technical IT vendors, is permitted only to perform tasks on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.

3. SMS Opt-In & Opt-Out Terms (Twilio / A2P 10DLC Rules)

Consent / Opt-In: By providing your phone number, filling out a form, or opting in via our digital intake/patient portal, you consent to receive informational text messages (such as appointment reminders, account updates, and customer support) from Sunrise Blvd Dental. Consent is not a condition of receiving medical treatment.

Opt-Out (Unsubscribe): You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT to our text line. Upon sending STOP, you will receive one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt back in by texting START.

Support / Help: For assistance with text messaging, reply HELP to any message or contact us directly at (954) 475-8100 or email hello@sunriseblvddental.com.

Rates & Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions with us. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
